Accept - The Rise of Chaos

Accept’s unprecedented resurgence to modern glory and relevance with Blood of the Nations and Stalingrad had started to slow a bit with Blind Rage and now the classic heavy metal-focused band seems to have lost a deal of momentum with The Rise of Chaos. Whereas the hooks on the first albums with Mark Tornillo on vocals were anthemic and the catchy song-writing a jolt awake for the fans of the long-stagnant in irrelevance band, The Rise of Chaos sounds like an old band trying to milk the success of their glory years, Accept’s glory years in this case being 2010 with fresh, modern, tasty guitars and vibrant vocal performances rather than 1980.
